Bio – Yash
Yash began his stand up comedy journey in Abu Dhabi in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the UAE’s premier comedians. Known for his sharp observations and high energy stage presence, he has shared the stage with internationally recognised comedians including Ahmed Ahmed, Kunal Kamra, Abhishek Upmanyu, Aurie Styla, Amit Tandon and Atul Khatri, among many others.
He wrote and featured in Silly Point, a special cricket and comedy segment produced for Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar. The show was filmed in Dubai during the Asia Cup Cricket tournament in the UAE and was so well received that it became a permanent feature on the streaming platform.
Yash recently toured Australia, representing Dubai’s comedy scene at the Adelaide Fringe Festival with his one hour special Brown Under. The show earned praise from both audiences and critics, selling out three of its four festival runs.
On 18 August 2023, his comedy special Expat Of Arabia premiered in Dubai to a sold out audience and was subsequently covered by multiple media outlets. He is a regular performer across leading comedy rooms in the Middle East and has headlined and hosted shows at the Dubai Comedy Festival, spotlighting the region’s top local talent.
Beyond live shows, Yash has delivered corporate comedy performances and workshops for major brands including TikTok, Zomato, Landmark Group and Spotify, among others.
Flamingo Live Comedy Club, Founder and Producer
Yash is the founder and producer of Flamingo Live Comedy Club, one of Dubai’s most loved comedy platforms. The club recently won Dubai’s Best Comedy Show at the Hoteliers Middle East Awards and has built a strong reputation within the region’s entertainment scene.
Producing two weekly shows, Flamingo Live collaborates with leading hospitality groups such as Accor and Solutions Leisure Group. It is currently one of the highest rated and most reviewed comedy clubs in Dubai on Google.
Signature shows including Comedy Theatre, Comedy In The Summer Garden and Survival of the Funniest provide a platform for emerging local talent while also featuring international comedians visiting Dubai for work and leisure. Through Flamingo Live, Yash continues to play a key role in shaping and elevating the UAE’s comedy landscape.
