Stand Up Comedian ( 2017 to Present)
Started stand up comedy in 2017 in Abu Dhabi, and now one of UAE’s premier stand up
comedians Shared stage with some of the biggest names in comedy – Ahmed Ahmed, Kunal Kamra, Abhishek Upmanyu, Aurie Styla, Amit Tandon, Attul Khattri, etc and many more
Wrote and featured on a Star Sports /Disney Hotstar’s special segment on cricket and comedy
called Silly Point, which was shot in Dubai when the Asia Cup Cricket was played in UAE
The segment was received so well that now it is a permanent feature on Disney’s streaming
platform. Recently toured Australia and represented Dubai’s comedy scene at the Adelaide Fringe
Festival with the one hour comedy special – Brown Under. The show was received well by both
the Australian audience and the critics. Selling out 3 out of 4 runs of the show at the festival
On 18th August’ 2023, Yash’s comedy special – Expat Of Arabia , premiered in Dubai, it was a sold
out show that got picked up by multiple media outlets
Yash is a regular at various comedy rooms in the middle east and has also headlined and hosted
a few Dubai Comedy Festival shows that featured Dubai’s local acts
Yash has done corporate comedy shows/workshops with companies in Dubai like TikTok Arabia,
Zomato, Landmark Group, Spotify, Devisers, MediaVantage, Team Red Dot Media and m
