Bio – Alana
is an award-winning Radio Host, Presenter,
Emcee and Actress, based in the UAE.
Born and raised in the UK, and with over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry, Alana is carving a career in broadcasting and live events. Catch Alana hosting Channel 4 Radio’s ‘Afternoons With Alana’ from 2pm to 5pm weekdays. Prior to her recent move to Channel 4, Alana hosted ‘The Morning Show’ on UAE’s Luv.107.1 for 3 years.
Alana works as an Emcee to some of the MENA region’s most respected brands and events. Alana began her career as a backing dancer for superstars Rihanna and George Micheal before enjoying time as a recording artist in pop band Madam Butterfly alongside Fleur East and understudying the lead role, Sophia Diaz, in Universal Studio’s ‘Fast and Furious Live’ European Arena Tour.
Alana has appeared in TV commercials for global brands including Disney, L’Oreal, Amazon & Burger King, as well as enjoying film success, starring in movies G-loc, LAIR, Black Ops, Fyre Rises and Lore, winning a Best Actress award for her performance in LAIR.
Alana is currently part of the presenting team on W News Extra for Al Arabiya.
