-Let the music take you wherever you are meant to go- Born in Beirut and based in Dubai Soraya is a project manager by day; DJ and a passionate music hunter by night. Soraya was always passionate about music and listened to everything from rock to pop and Jazz until she discovered electronic music back in 2013. Since then Soraya made sure to travel around the world to attend named electronic festivals such as Ultra, Melt, ADE, Music on, Sonar, Sonus, Sunwaves, Five islands and many more. 2 years later this passion became real and she started mixing and matching genres as she pleases, transporting the listeners on a rock solid groovy journeys. Inspired by international DJs such as Patrice Baumel, Mind Against, Maceo Plex, Adriatique, Fideles, Ae:ther, Kas:st, Innelea, Trikk, Blondish and the list goes on, her sound consists of a diversity of house, melodic house, techno, progressive and deep house. Her debut was at Solace Dubai, as a co-founder and a resident DJ. She also has become a frequent player in some of Dubai and the UAE's finest events and venues naming Soho garden, Iris, Ce la vie, Dream Garden, 40 Kong, Gaucho, Bianky Beach Ajman, Ollie Daze, Felini garden, the warehouse, Saadiyat Rotana and the list goes on.. Soraya did not stop her activity during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Her passion for music grew stronger sharing her music on a weekly basis through live streaming in collaboration with Desert Dream Community, Infusion Magazine on Air Festival, Sounds of Amman, Hammam Radio Berlin, Solaris Radio, Uberhaus Digital Festival ( Electronic Labor Day), Beirut Underground, deep house tunes, and the list goes on. She dedicated sets to raise donations for charity to help those who were highly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. She also created SAMA Beirut, an initiative to help raise funds to the Lebanese community after the Beirut Blast by bringing together a group of artists and volunteers who worked on the production of music videos. Soraya is also founder at SAMA Community, an immersive experience combining music and wellness and bringing together like minded people. The underground music scene keeps on developing and expending. Soraya is making sure to always be on the forefront of this movement. As an art therapist, Soraya's art is to work the crowd allowing them to experience her emotions and passions, connecting their senses and just move with her energy as she has a unique charisma behind the decks.
