Phil is heavily influenced by blues-rock guitar players such as Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Andy Timmons, Eric Johnson, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. However he has developed his own easily recognizable style. Rock, Blues & Funky dance music may well be some of his strongest styles as a guitarist, Phil is still a very good all-rounder for most genres.
