Patrizia Masutti was born in Trieste (Italy) and started studying harp at the local Conservatory with Prof. Giuliana Stecchina and with Prof. Maria Grazia Consoli. At age 13 she won the first prize at the prestigious Salvi National Harp Competition in Viggiano (Italy). She specialized in Celtic harp at the Urbino Early and Renaissance Music courses in 1990. In 1996 she graduated in harp at the Conservatory of Trieste with the highest marks. Afterwards she played extensively as a harp soloist, in orchestras and ensembles. Patrizia also has a Degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Trieste (Italy). In 2011 Patrizia moved to Dubai with her family and continues to perform in different venues. She also enjoys teaching harp privately to children and adults and prepares students to pass Trinity College or ABRSM exams. She regularly attends summer harp master classes with Prof. Jasna Merlak Corrado in Italy. In addition to classical music concerts, Patrizia has vast experience of playing for different kind of events such as weddings (Western and Arabic), corporate gala dinner, grand opening, family gatherings and many others. She already played at Madinat Jumeirah, Burj al Arab, Palazzo Versace, Anantara Eastern Mangrove Hotel Abu Dhabi, Conrad Hotel Dubai, Graff Jewellery Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, One and Only The Palm, Dubai Mall Dr Vranjes Grand Opening, Pierchic Restaurant, Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah, Dubai Design District, Hyatt Regency Dubai, Rotana Saadyat Abu Dhabi, Ritz Carlton DIFC, American University in The Emirates, Stella di Mare Hotel Dubai, The Mojo Gallery Dubai, Holy Trinity Church in Dubai, Park Hyatt Dubai, Van Cleef and Arpel Dubai Plaza and many others. Patrizia also had the great pleasure to perform for members of the Royal Family in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Her repertoire varies from classical to Arabic, pop, rock and jazz. She performs as harp solo or together with flute, violin or any other kind of musical ensemble.
