With over 30 years of experience in entertainment Just Lance is highly knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about the industry he has dedicated his life to. Born in Cape Town, his DJ career started with playing at house parties and family gatherings in the mid-eighties. With a love for all music genres and a skill to mix seamlessly between them, along with a unique talent of being able to read a crowd he fast became one of the most sort after DJs in South Africa. He moved to Dubai in 2000 and has frequently performed for iconic local brands such as Audio Tonic, Infusion's Entra Mi Casa and Full Moon Beach Parties as well as for international brands such as Corona Sunset Festival, Defected, Hed Kandi, Ministry Of Sound and Smirnoff’s Stay True Weekender, the list is endless. Along with DJing, he has also co-promoted the award winning events Revolve@360o and House Of Afrika at Media One’s Dek On Eight. Since 2005 he has had very regular guest DJ slots at the world famous Barasti Beach Bar and Club and after opening the highly successful Mahiki at the Jumeriah Beach Hotel in 2011, in 2012 he was asked to become a permanent member of The Mina Seyahi and Westin Resort Complex entertainment team of which he has been an integral part till the 2020 pandemic. Besides Barasti, this team was also responsible for opening award winning venues such as China Grill, Asia De Cuba, Bar Rumba, Industrial Avenue and Oeno Wine Bar. Post pandemic he has been playing his distinctive sound in numerous clubs and bars in and around Dubai. Radisson Red’s Red Roof Pool And Shisha Bar, the Michelin Star awarded Tan Cha at the JW Marriot Marquis Hotel, Off The Wall in the Indigo Hotel and the winner of the “Best Gastro Pub” award, Goose Island at FIVE Jumeirah Village Hotel to name a few. Just Lance has played at some of the regions finest venues and festivals and has shared the stage with the likes of Armand Van Helden, Black Eyed Peas, Carl Cox, Faithless, Jazzy Jeff, Tiësto and many, many more!!
